Buffières, landscapes and men

Haven of peace far away from the hurly-burly of modern life, Buffières, kingdom of the wind according to its etymology, invites you to discover its 1213 hectares of forests and groves, hills and valleys.

From the mill of Grivaux (altitude 250m) to the edge of the national forest (altitude 543m), take time to savour the simple beauty of its peaceful surroundings throughout the 25 km of marked paths.

Meet those who constitute a population rich in diversity and an attractive living environment.

Discover Buffières, a friendly village located in Saône-et-Loire, in the south of Burgundy (France), near Cluny and Macon.

With the promise of spring, here is the return of the Printemps des Poètes>. At the initiative of the volunteers of the municipal library and in collaboration with the Association of Rural Foyer, Buffières will live this year again under the sign of poetry. This year, the national theme of the event is "the ardor"
Throughout the month of March, you are given the opportunity to read selected poems on panels distributed in the town of Buffières, and come to warm you in the multipurpose room adjoining the library, which will house an exhibition of poems and paintings evoking ardor.
On Saturday April 7th, the Mille Club will host a recital by Philippe Granger, and Sunday April 8th a poetic and recreational afternoon that culminates with the release of balloons carrying poems. More detailed information about these two days will follow.
And by then we propose, as last year, to use the electronic way to share our favorites, among the selected poems. Hoping that you will enjoy receiving and reading them.
